Tracker is a stunning 8 month old neutered male currently located in Pennsylvania. 

His foster has truly been a blessing for Tracker. When he first came to them, they observed his reaction to normal life as part of the family and came to the realization that Tracker did not have exposure to a lot of things in his previous life and didn’t seem to have been a part of a family, living inside a home.  He thought a TV was really odd and interesting and would twist his head back and forth as sound came out.  He ventured up the stairs once but was freaked out about coming down (they finally enticed him down but he was not graceful in that process :-) ).  He felt safest staying inside or close to his crate. 

He is crate trained and very gentle when he take treats out of your hand.

His foster family has been making beautiful progress with him and he is really blossoming under their care, showing a lot of personality.  He absolutely LOVES his ball and toys and will play non-stop. He has an amazing nose and would really excel at something like nosework or tracking.   He seems to like water so might also be a good dock diving candidate.  He is very bright and would be happiest in a home where he would be involved in some sort of sport or job.

He loves going on walks in the neighborhood.  He is a little cautious of new people but will warm up with proper introductions and enjoys meeting the neighbors. 

He is fearful of little humans and because of this, he will not be placed in a home with children under 14.

Tracker doesn’t have any aversion to loud noises/thunder/fireworks, etc and adjusts quickly to most new things that make him pause and check-out.

He is good for a bath and likes being brushed.

He is such a love bug with his people and would crawl into your pocket if he could.  

He follows his foster mom EVERYWHERE and is her shadow. When she sits on the floor with him, he wiggles his nose under her neck to get her to roll over and interact with him. 

He gets along well with the female Dobbie of the house but can be a little timid with new dogs so it will be important to take introductions to new dogs slowly.  

He is still a puppy and learning proper behavior in the house. He is still apt to pull shenanigans like stealing an orchid plant and running away with it or grabbing your shoes to get attention but he is learning that these are not the most productive ways to get attention and has already come a very long way in a short time.
