Axl is a 6 month old male that is very high energy but not high drive.  He loves to chase ball and is good with other dogs after proper introduction. . Axl has done well around goats and chickens while under supervision. He has been around children and does well. He does panic a bit when in a crate due to spending way too much time in one prior to being brought into rescue. He is not destructive outside the crate under proper supervision. He is quiet while crated in the car and does well getting groomed. He also does well with having his nails grinded. He is working on his obedience and knows sit, lie down, leave it, here, out and is working on quiet and stay. He is potty trained and does not counter surf. Axl loves water and with the right home he may be able to dock dive .

Axl is able to get over a fence so a 6 foot fence is required. He can also climb chain link and will need an owner that will not leave him unattended outdoors.

**PLEASE NOTE** Veterinarians recommend that large breed dogs not be neutered  prior to 1 year. ABMR requires a $500 neuter deposit when adopting. This deposit will be returned upon proof of neuter.
